Another site arises

Another site arises

So. A woman who lost her son to a dog attack has now joined the BSL brigade. While my heart breaks for any woman (or man) who loses their child … anyone who, less than a month later is running a website and screaming about vicious dogs. Well. I have to wonder how that person is going to heal. Yes, I agree that doing something often helps in that process but it’s just too much hate to wallow in after such a tragedy. Seems professional therapy instead of Colleen Lynn therapy would be much healthier.
We’ll ignore the fact that a good portion of the images on the new website are from a diabetes site. Copyright infringement right out of the gate.
But there’s also a new facebook page. And let’s look what happens there when someone posts that a great place to start is education. Yeah. *sigh* What was that about pit nutters being crazy and vicious? I hate to tell these foamers but they make themselves look beyond stupid on a daily basis. And this was no different. I do not know the woman who made the original post and was absolutely attacked and shredded by these people for simply stating that teaching people about dogs/dog behavior and what to do or not do during an attack would be a good place to begin since obviously not every single “vicious” dog is going to disappear off the planet tomorrow because you started a website.
These people ONLY believe in death. And they seem to be ready to pounce whenever a child is hurt or killed. They offer their support to the family when really, all they want is to find more people to use and pimp out to try to advance their cause. It’s truly sad to see “non-profits” acting like vultures.
